Privacy without the mystery.
This policy explains what information may be processed when you visit LifeWidget.com, use a calculator, submit feedback or contact us. It also explains how the policy will change before advertising or nonessential analytics are introduced.
Calculator entries
Current LifeWidget calculators perform their calculations in your browser. The numbers, dates, lists and campaign assumptions entered into these tools are not intentionally transmitted to or stored by LifeWidget. Avoid entering confidential personal, client, payment or account information into any general-purpose calculator.
Tool requests and helpfulness feedback
When you submit the Request a Tool form, LifeWidget stores the tool name, selected category, calculation description, optional real-world example and submission time so the suggestion can be reviewed. The form does not ask for an account or email address. When you answer whether a calculator was useful, LifeWidget stores the calculator name, Yes or No response and submission time. Do not place personal or sensitive information in a tool request.
Information needed to deliver the site
Our hosting and security providers may automatically process technical information required to deliver, protect and diagnose the website. This can include an internet protocol address, browser and device information, requested pages, request time, referring page and security events. Such processing is controlled by the relevant provider and may be retained for operational and security purposes.
Information you choose to send
If you email LifeWidget, we receive the address, message and any information you include. We use it to respond, investigate correction reports, maintain records of important requests and prevent misuse. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details or other highly sensitive information.
Cookies and local storage
LifeWidget does not currently use advertising cookies or account cookies. Essential hosting and security systems may use limited technical storage where necessary. A calculator may use browser memory while a page is open, but current calculator entries are not intentionally retained by LifeWidget after the visit.
Analytics and advertising
LifeWidget does not currently run Google AdSense or nonessential behavioral analytics. Before activating advertising or analytics, we will update this policy to identify the services used, the information they process, the purposes of processing, available controls and relevant retention practices.
If Google advertising is introduced, Google and its partners may use cookies, device identifiers, internet protocol addresses or similar technologies to deliver, measure and personalize advertising. Visitors will be given links and controls for managing personalized advertising, and an appropriate consent-management platform will be used in regions where it is required.
Affiliate links
LifeWidget may later include clearly disclosed affiliate links. If a visitor follows such a link, the destination service may process referral information and use its own cookies or tracking technologies under its own privacy policy. We will identify affiliate relationships when they become active.
Sharing and sale of personal information
LifeWidget does not sell calculator entries or personal information. Information may be processed by service providers that help operate, secure or communicate through the website, or disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, or investigate abuse.
International processing and retention
Website infrastructure and service providers may process information in countries other than the visitor’s own. Tool requests, feedback and correspondence are retained only for as long as reasonably needed for review, communication, records, security and legal obligations.
Your choices
You may choose not to submit feedback, send us an email or use a tool that does not suit your privacy needs. When consent-based advertising or analytics is introduced, the relevant consent interface will provide available choices. Privacy requests can be sent to the address below; we may need enough information to understand and respond to the request.
Children
LifeWidget is a general-audience utility website and is not designed to collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us, contact us so that the matter can be reviewed.
Policy changes
Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. New data-processing features will not be described as active until they are actually introduced.
