Our editorial purpose

LifeWidget publishes tools and explanations to help visitors complete a real calculation or decision. We prioritize a working result, understandable assumptions and useful context over producing large numbers of pages for search traffic.

How a tool is created

Each calculator begins with a defined user problem, required inputs, an explicit formula or decision method, expected outputs and known limitations. We favor methods that can be explained and independently checked.

Sources and platform-dependent information

Universal arithmetic is documented through the visible formula. When a calculator depends on external rules—such as advertising definitions, marketplace fees, payment-processor charges or tax rates—we seek current first-party documentation from the relevant platform or authority. The calculator page should identify the applicable market, assumptions and review date.

Testing and review

Before a tool is marked ready, representative examples, zero values, boundary conditions, invalid entries and relevant mobile interactions are checked. A review date means the calculation or explanation was meaningfully examined on that date; it is not a guarantee that an external platform has made no subsequent change.

Updates to changing fees and rules

Platform fees and policies may change without notice. We periodically review time-sensitive calculators, prioritize reported discrepancies and may temporarily label or remove a tool when its accuracy cannot be reasonably maintained. Where practical, a calculator will permit visitors to enter a custom rate rather than relying only on a fixed rate.

Forecasts and uncertainty

Advertising, revenue and business forecasts are scenarios—not promises. They depend on the visitor’s inputs and may omit refunds, taxes, attribution differences, overhead, market changes or other circumstances. We show assumptions and, where useful, multiple scenarios so visitors can judge uncertainty.

Commercial independence

Advertising, sponsorship or affiliate relationships do not determine formulas, rankings of numerical outcomes or conclusions produced by a calculator. Commercial relationships will be disclosed near the relevant recommendation or link.

Use of software and AI

Software, including AI-assisted systems, may support research, drafting, development and testing. It does not remove our responsibility to check whether a page solves its stated problem. We do not intentionally publish untested, automatically generated tool pages merely to capture search traffic.

Corrections

Readers can report a suspected error through our Contact page or by emailing hello@lifewidget.com. Reports should identify the tool, inputs, observed result and expected result where possible. Confirmed errors are corrected, and significant changes receive a new review date.
